How can I prevent jaw damage when using a MaxxMacro vise in Wire EDM WEDM?

To protect a MaxxMacro (System 3R OEM 100% cross-compatible) vise and its jaws in Wire EDM WEDM:

  1. Ensure full jaw-to-workpiece contact before applying clamping force.
  2. Use clamping torque appropriate to the workpiece’s weight and geometry.
  3. Review the loading and clamping procedure with the operator.

Uneven contact can apply a twisting load to the jaw and cause a fracture. This can occur when the workpiece does not contact the full jaw face.
