The MaxxMacro 54 Multi Chuck Rail QuickChuck is a workhorse in precision machining, but the standard model was not designed for Wire EDM environments, where exposure to water and dielectric fluids can quickly cause rust.

When Indy Honeycomb approached us with the need for a fully rust-proof QuickChuck to use in Wire EDM operations, our engineering team got to work. The solution involved adapting materials and finishes so the entire chuck would resist corrosion while maintaining the tight tolerances and repeatability our customers expect.

The result? A custom-built, rust-proof QuickChuck — tough enough for Wire EDM, yet delivering the same precision and versatility that makes the MaxxMacro 54 a shop favorite.
